Nintendo held their E3 2019 Nintendo Direct. The 40-minute presentation was jam-packed with game announcements, surprises, confirmations and game play galore. Nintendo ended their E3 presentation with the unexpected reveal that a sequel to Breath of the Wild is in development.
Here’s a rundown of the announcements that from the Direct:
Banjo-Kazooie were revealed as DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate coming this fall.
The Hero from Dragon Quest XI was revealed as a DLC Fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate coming this summer.
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition revealed to be coming September 20th to Switch.
Trails of Mana remake coming to Nintendo Switch in 2020.
Collection of Mana out now on eshop, physical edition out August 27th.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 coming later this year.
Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, a tactical RPG based on the Dark Crystal prequel series coming to Netflix, coming in 2019.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition coming to Switch in 2019.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy coming September 3rd.
MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order comes to Switch on July 19, 2019, expansion pass available for pre-order that adds content from Marvel Knights, X-Men, and Fantastic 4.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening releases September 20th and includes the Color Dungeon from the DX version on Game Boy Color. There is also a dungeon-maker feature that allows players to arrange dungeon chambers and then explore them and win items upon completion.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons coming March 20, 2020.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses launched July 26.
ASTRAL CHAIN releases August 30th.
