Microsoft has announced that they will hold an event giving a first look at game play from the upcoming XBox Series X console on May 7th at 11am ET / 8am PT.
This event follows up the Xbox Series X hardware reveal that was held in March. This game play reveal may contain some of the announcements that Microsoft had planned for E3 2020 which would have been held in June of this year but was cancelled due to health concerns. The ESA also recently confirmed that they are not planning any digital show to replace E3.
The XBox Series X is expected to release during the 2020 holiday season, though Microsoft has not yet given an official release date.
