Pokémon Presents Stream Announced for Tomorrow

Today The Pokémon Company announced via social media that there is a ‘Pokémon Presents’ livestream scheduled for June 17th at 6am PDT/9am EDT. The showcase will be streamed on official Pokémon YouTube and Twitch channels.

The stream promises to deliver the latest Pokémon news. It is expected that this stream will contain more news on the Pokémon Sword Version and Pokémon Shield Version Expansion Pass, part one of which releases that same day.

It is also possible that this stream will contain more information on the Pokémon Sleep mobile game for iOS and Android, which was announced during the Pokémon Press Conference last year. The game is being developed by Select Button.

There may also be more information revealed on the sequel to Detective Pikachu that was announced during the Pokémon Press Conference. It is also possible that there will be an update on the status of the planned update for the Pokémon Home app that will bring compatibility with Pokémon Go.

The showcase may reveal the game that the Pokémon Company has been developing with Tencent subsidiary, and Arena of Valor Developer, Timi Studio Group.

Pokémon spin-off games, or a new sub-main series game like a sequel to Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee. There most likely won’t be a reveal of the next generation of Pokémon with Sword and Shield not being a full year old yet, and only just reviving the first half of their planned DLC. For this same reason it is also unlikely that the highly fan-anticipated remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl would be revealed.
