Leaks Reveal ‘Crash Bandicoot 4’ Coming Soon

Earlier this week The Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee posted listings for a new Crash Bandicoot game titled Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. The listings show the game will be coming to the Play Station 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X platforms. The fact that the game is planned for Xbox Series X, indicates that the game will probably be coming to Play Station 5 as well. According to the listing the game is being developed by Toys for Bob the developer of Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Posting with the listing was a short description of the game story:

Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash’s mask friend! With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.

This listing comes ahead of any official confirmation from Activision. It seems that Activision has been planning to reveal the game soon as they were sending out cryptic promotional materials to social media influancer suggesting a surprise reveal related to Crash Bandicoot.

As of yet there has been no official word from Activision on the existence of this game, but there will likely be an announcement in the coming weeks.
