Super Smash Bros Commentator and Twitch Streamer Cinnpie Accused of Sexually Assaulting 14-year-old

Today the Twitch streamer Puppeh made a post to Twitter revealing that during the summer of 2016, when he was 14 years old, he was pursued and sexually assaulted by a then 24 year-old Cinnpie. The post states that because of Puppeh being a young competitor on the Smash Bros. circuit he would encounter Cinnpie at local tournaments and they would get to know each other and become friends. Sometime before the summer of 2016 Cinnpie would initiate sexual conversations with Puppeh over Snapchat and Facebook.

One day after a tournament Cinnpie and Puppeh were at a friends house with a group of friends, Cinnpie, and the other adult friends were drinking as they played video games. During one excited moment of during the game Puppeh got up and ran in celebration, and Cinnpie chased and tackled him and proceeded to make out with him. This first sexual encounter would be followed by many more through the summer including going as far as engaging in oral sex. The post continues that Cinnpie would pressure Puppeh into deleting his Facebook messages and gaslight Puppeh into not telling anyone about the encounters.

After that summer Puppeh would then have to play against his attacker at Smash Bros. tournaments, a situation that would cause his trauma to resurface. As of yet there has been no comment from Cinnpie on these allegations. However, the streamer has been online since the assult was revealed, changing the tag in her Twitter user handle from the message “SPEAK UP” aimed at encouraging all victims to speak up, to the more generic “Do your best”.

Members of the Super Smash Bros. Community have begun speaking up condemning Cinnpie’s actions.
