Amazon Announces Luna Game Streaming Service

Today Amazon Announced that they will be releasing a new cloud gaming service called Amazon Luna. The service will grant users access to a library of software titles. That can be streamed to smart TVs, mobile devices, PCs, laptops, and tablets. The service will have integration allowing for users to play and stream game content to Twitch.

Amazon will also release a stand alone Luna controller. The controller will feature two joysticks, a Directional Pad, shoulder and face buttons. Among the face buttons are a microphone button, button for accessing options, and a button to steaming game content to Twitch.

Game Content will be delivered via cloud streaming channels that users subscribe to to access game content. The Luna service will cost $5.99 per month during early access, and an Ubisoft channel will be coming to the service in the future.

Amazon Luna releases later this year. The Luna website is accepting early access requests for their beta.
