Today The Pokémon Company announced an update that will be coming to the Pokémon HOME app in June.
The update will add the Catch Calendar, a feature that lets players to view and sort their stored Pokémon by the dates they were first captured. Players can also mark chosen dates as Anniversaries allowing them to commemorate special occasions.
The update adds an expanded camera view to the Pokédex. Using this feature trainers can see their Pokémon from new angles and maybe learn new things about their favorite Pokémon.
To commemorate this update a special Bulbasaur and Squirtle are to be distributed to players through the Mystery Gift feature in Pokémon Sword and Shield and Pokémon HOME. The Bulbasaur and Squirtle both have the gigantamax factor making them able to become gigantamax Venusaur and Blastoise upon evolving. In Pokémon Sword and Shield versions the player receives a Charmader capable of gigantamaxing during the game story. And in the Sword and Shield Expansion Pass dlc players gain the ability to make an item that allows them to give the gigantamax factor to certain Pokémon.
The Pokémon HOME update will go live in June, the exact date hasn’t been announced yet.
